Seeking Volunteer Clinician for Trauma Debriefs
A Trauma Debrief is a structured group discussion designed to help Police Officers:
• Review what happened during a critical incident
• Discuss their thoughts and emotional reactions
• Learn practical coping strategies
Participation Requirement
Clinicians must be trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) to take part in Trauma Debriefs. If you are interested in becoming CISM trained, POPPA offers in person training once a year in March. Please contact us for more information or to express interest.
